A HOME REPAIR BLOG designed for women (and those that don't normally do repairs) who live in older style (or any type) home, or who have rentals—who simply no longer want to view home improvement projects as frightening but who realize they may on occasion be challenging—after all, any place can be a home once you hang your heart. The one thing that must be clearly understood however is that repairs must be done correctly to improve a home's value. If they can be done yourself, and at a discount, all the better. (Of course, knowing when to initiate Plan B (call a professional) – life at home can be serendipity.)

When Humor Hits Home (and heart, and just about anywhere along the way or in between)

... Because whether coming or going... life is a lot more fun when lived with a good attitude

Much like the quote "I think; therefore I am" -by Descartes, believing in daily
humor (and a good attitude in general) life can be better, or at worse--funnier
With the economy in its current state--crime, stupidity and unemployment on the rise; police and fire headcount cutbacks while CEO's are earning salaries in excess of $180k/year)--it's clearly evident that our once-secure and balanced happy life is not just a roller coaster of political soap opera and recessions but now a complete chaotic mess (those willing to admit it, or those coherent enough to notice, anyway).

Humor always has been the backbone (and secret) to living a happy life (perspective, attitude). And now more than ever without humor, hope and all sense of security go right out the window without it. It's like a daily dose of vitamins--a necessity to living a happy, healthy life. There's only so much people can do with what's happening in the world (change takes time, after all) so in the meantime, there's humor to help us get through.

I hope you'll enjoy the humorous perspective in the home, heart, and just about everywhere in between because whether coming or going, life is a wondrous place as long as viewed and lived with a good attitude. If there's one thing I've learned it's that there are indeed folks from all walks of life with attitude, and that not everyone is going to share your opinion, have the same attitude as you (in other words, be as happy as you)--which in essence now means that so many differences, and a few alikes used to be the beauty behind--whereas now it can be a downfall. Being unique has its own beauty these days :)

There are unfortunately a lot of people out there who choose to remain unhappy rather than find the good in something (they'd rather complain), and this is where life can get complicated--at home, work, and when out and about in the world. I've also discovered that the likelihood of running into an unhappy person each day is on the rise (probably 30 to 50 percent) so although maintaining a positive attitude is becoming more challenging, humor is definitely right up there with the absolute must-haves like love, faith and hope. It is indeed a survival tool. So, on that note, I hope you enjoy this blog about the humorous aspects of life, from all aspects, sometimes with a little twist ;)

Have you had your smile today?
